Children's Art Lab Open Studio Hours

***Open Studio hours are designed for adult caregivers and children to explore art concepts together.  There is no need to sign up for Open Studio--just drop in, stay as long as you like, and make art!  $10/child, ages 12 months-12 years!***

Make Night for Moms!

$15 includes wine, snacks, and materials.

We'll explore sewing, bookbinding, drawing and journaling exercises designed to inspire and refresh you!  And of course we'll have wine and snacks!  Come hang out and have fun with friendly, crafty mamas!  Feel free to bring your own project to work on or experiment with our materials.

Cut and Paste

Ages 4 and 5

Tuesdays, 3:30-5:30pm

Instructor: Maral Pugh

Get ready to paint, glue, and use your imaginations!  Children in this class will experiment with a variety of techniques and processes, including sculpture, printmaking, collage, and much more!  This is a wonderful class for the curious young artist.

From Plan to Project

Ages 6-10

Wednesdays, 3:30-5:30pm

Instructor: Maral Pugh

This class will give children the opportunity to plan and experiment with materials and ideas on a small scale before moving on to larger group and individual projects.  Students will draw plans, choose materials, and work together to explore a combined artistic vision.  This class will appeal to a child who loves constructing  inventions, drawing "dream house" plans, and  drawing inspiration from the natural world.

Mixed up and Messy!

Instructor: Benares Angeley

Do you have a young child who loves to get a little messy and experiment with materials?  In this class students will try a little bit of everything: paint, glue, collage, printmaking, mixing up our own "concoctions", sculpture, and more!  This class also includes music, movement, and stories, and is perfect as a complement to a preschool curriculum.

Art in Motion classes Fall 2015

Art in Motion classes include music, movement, and  creative art exploration.  The classes are designed for children ages four and under.  Children as young as six months have happily attended Art in Motion classes.

Art in Motion classes are held on:

Mondays, 10-11am

Wednesdays, 10-11am

Fridays, 10-11am

Fall 2015 Schedule

Each session is 10 weeks.  The cost is $120/child.  Siblings 12 months and under are free.  Siblings over 12 months receive a 20% discount.
